I do Santa pictures in malls and I am looking for a way to streamline everything. Has anyone heard of "Instapics"?

Photoshop may be the most powerful photo editor, but it's certainly not easy! It's hard to go wrong with Picasa for quick proofing (including slideshows), basic editing (red-eye correction, cropping, exposure adjustment, color balance, upsizing, downsizing, some special effects), and good printing.

I used to use a fairly expensive photo manager (ACDSee), but Picasa does things quickly, easily (many one-button fixes), and FREE from Google.

For online sharing, bar none the best web interface is Flickr.

Apparently the people above me really don't have a clue.

The program you need is by a company called Imageware. It's called PC Pro.

This is how we use it when we do Santa photos

1) Have Dell computer with PC Pro running
2) Have Kodak ML-500 connected to computer
3) Have Kodak DCS-750 connected to computer
---
A. We photograph the kids - take 3 or 4 pictures - and then show the parents each image individually in PC Pro. They choose their photo.
B. We then open up the sheet we want to use the image with (1 8x10 // 2 4x5 // 8 wallets // etc). We drag the image to that sheet and hit the print button.

It's as easy at that. With PC Pro you can design all the templates in photoshop and then import them into PC Pro. Each image is assigned a number which allows for easy reorders. We also use this setup for school portraits.
