For those who are students of the scholar Alvin Plantiga. If the answer is no than his what the proof demonstrates is the impossibility of anything not being itself. This impossibility, however, can only apply to the actual world since possible other worlds and all possible entities within them by definition are hypothetical and nonexistent.

The title "of Mice and Men" comes from a poem by Scottish poet Robert Burns. The poem "To A Mouse" describes how a mouse's home is indeed destroyed. A significant line in the poem, the line from which the novel is taken, is "the best laid schemes o'mice and 'men gang aft agly." In our words, even the most organized ideas can still not work out.

Do you agree with Burns' comment about plans and dreams? Why do you think that we still continue to dream despite the fact the many dreams are never realized and many plans are often defeated?

A member of my writing group is currently writing a book about a German POW (not a Natzi) captured in Paris and imprissoned in California. Every day he stares out his window at a distant ranch house, drawn to it for no apparent reason. Then one day, he and several other prisners are detailed to work at this ranch, and the protagonist falls head over heels in love with the ranch owner's beautiful daughter, who is half-Anglo and half-Mexican. The biggest conflict is one of her brothers died during the invasion of Normandy and the other one is still fighting in Europe.

Just off the top of your head, what would be a good working title for this book. BTW, the protagonist's name is Fritz, and the girl of his dreams is Sarah.

Is it possible to love without seeing, kiss the soul without touching, to give everything on a belief? All the same, but all so different.

Not to offend anyone, but let's face it some people are not from America, and dont know the history, just as many of our own Americans and maybe more cant recite our history as well. So if we want to be helpful, than why dont we just answer the questions to the best of our abilities so we can move right along? After all we were little kids once too and we were curious, and it wasnt that long ago for most right? Shouldnt we have a little patience?
What else are we doing anyway? Nothing important or we would not be on this site answering questions right?

Because who ever does think for themselves? As a baby, if we are not given physical contact besides minimal life support, our minds will be stunted once we having nothing to mimic. There are cases where average healthy babies are deprived of social interaction and grow up completely helpless. Most of these babies do not even live past age 8. If freewill most be forced on us to exist then how are laws and circumstances irrelevant? If people have limited and different forms of freewill then why does freewill state people are equally responsible for the same actions?
