Was his appointment as Minister-President of Prussia the most important turning point for German nationalism between 1815 and 1871? Was he a brilliant manipulator of circumstances or did he simply get lucky?

This year we got a new director for your spring musical. She took auditions seriousley. On Mon & Tues, we had 4 different auditions. One for vocal, 2 for dancing (you only HAD to attend one, but 2 was recommended), and 1 for acting. Both nights I was at the school until after 8. On Wednesday, she posted call-backs. I didn't get one (I knew I wouldn't, I hadn't been feeling well on Tuesday.) It was only call-backs for main rolls, though, so everyone still had a chance to be in the ensemble (we're dong Pippin, so it has a big ensemble).

Today, Friday, she posted the cast list. Basically, 1/2 of the people who got call-backs for LEAD roles weren't even in the ensemble. It just doesn't make sense to me! These people (I know most of them) were extremely talented actors and singers. Others, who I know aren't very talented, or are just beginners, we put into the ensemble (I didn't make it either!). Isn't it assumed if you get a call-back you're at least in ensemble?

I believe "everyone" has a BASIC PURPOSE for living. I think we all choose our own goals, and therefore determine our own purposes for living.

My Basic Purpose for living is to WORK.

The type of work I do changes from time to time, and the rewards I get in exchange for my efforts vary.

But, when it come right down to the most basic/fundamental reason I live... I must say (and this is based on many years of observation and analysis), I LIVE TO WORK.

Why do you live?

OR

What are you trying to accomplish in life?

ALL honest/heartfelt answers will be thoroughly appreciated.

Thanks.

I really need to know if my drawings are ok for publishing. Actually, I better rehearse the whole story: I'm a sophomore, going to publish a book. (lulu.com/juliaspence) I just finished the drawings for the inside and now I'm working on designing my very own book cover.

I just want to know if my drawings are suitable...I mean, do they look realistic enough? Please be honest, I really want to know!
