To be satisfied with life is to do what really satisfies you. I think people should work with the things that their good at (like if you love giving advice become a counselour), live and just be a great life. If you want to live a more satisfying life, you need to focus on what isn't satisfying you and hire a life coach to help you sort this out. A life coach can really help you feel like yourself and become a more acceptable human being.
BTW: I'm a life coach, just e-mail me and we'll get started.

Maybe try to cherish what you have around you, some special people you care about or be more outgoing and find new interesting things to learn.

Being satisfied is not just about fulfilling our desire, it is a combination of everything. Sadness and despair, happiness and having fun. Life would be boring if we have only happiness and miserable with just sadness. So, just stay comfort in every situation, bad or not. Facing it calmly would give the very satisfying life to us. So, comfront it.

be aware of yourself in the mind and in heart. be aware of your evils, what you can do and what you can't do. knowing your own evils will help in accepting them. not everyone is perfect. in any situation, always take a look and ask the question, what would be the fair and right thing to do, even if your personal interests are not being satisfied. i am also struggling with the same thing and so far, this is what i concluded.

Dissatisfaction is a consequence of our constant quest for perfection. Our yearning for perfection is innate and natural. We need to realise perfection in our own way instead of trying to be perfection ourselves, which is both impossible and unnatural for anything in this world. The paradox here is that we cannot live without the notion of perfection in the grasp of our mind. We therefore must seek ways to realise perfection with all our heart, not just with our mind. Mind will never content upon anything but heart knows contentment every so often in its matters. Seek the way of your own heart and you will find what you are looking for!

Romans 13:14
Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

This world, and the things in it, cannot truly satisfy anyone. Guilt cannot be covered by any human means, nor do we easily forget it, and we cannot get rid of it completely. Guilt can ruin a person's life, but more then that, no one can be truly happy unless they are secure, and nothing in this world is truly, eternally secure. One must be secure in the truth. But what is truth? In John 14:6, Jesus says that He is the truth! I hope that this helps, God bless!

Focus on your greatness, we are all everything, sinner, saint, lover hermit, any energetic opposite that exists. Decide who you choose to be, visualise yourself in that place and add positive emotion behind each visualisation. Add the ingredients of total belief, this is the secret to manifestation. Look through any immediate manifestation until your desire becomes part of your immediate reality...you are the creator of your own reality. Choose to be at your greatest
