I used to work for a newspaper office and we would sell "end rolls" to the general public. SO, just call your local paper office and ask if they sell end rolls....as for how to print on it yourself, I'm not sure. We had HUGE printing presses that I'm not sure how the general public would duplicate that process. Good luck.

I don't remember what is it called (newsprint?) but the paper comes in huge rolls that weight several hundred pounds. The rolls are designed to work with the type of presses a city news paper would use.

Maybe your local newspaper publisher would have some leftovers you could adapt for use with your school printing process.

it is called "newsprint" and any art supply store carries it in tablet form (some pretty big like 3'X4')
