For myself, I had this handheld device that could spell-check words, play word games, etc, and it was about the size of a driver's license. Anyway I would hit a button and a random word would come up, fairly advanced words, and I would use that word in the next sentence. I had absolutely no idea where the story would go, but it actually turned out quite well. I got to page four or so before I got bored and started a new book. If I can find that little device again maybe I'll start working on that story again, it was a fun idea, and challenging too.

Often times, when you see 20th century buildings with words inscribed in them, the letter "u" is often replaced with the letter "v." It's quite striking, and in my mind completely non-sensical.

I'm sure it's some sort of tradition, but where did it come from? Why was it considered so important to all these builders to permanently inscribe improperly spelled words into their masterpieces?

Was it superstition? Prestige?

There must have been a good reason. Where did the tradition come from and why did it come about?

It was so strange--I usually get a crush on a guy when i see he's cute, or after a while because of his personality. But this time was so different: I didn't even know the guy, I looked to him as he entered the room, and PAH! my heart jumped and I crushed on him! He's not that attractive, or popular, and I have no idea what his personlity was just like--why on earth did I feel cupid's arrow?

Hi, I'm an adult. Why was I not given the free choice in the markeplace to read or not read O.J.'s book. I could have decided for myself if it had merit. As a student of the human psyche, I might have gained insight into the mind of an alleged killer. Why did I have to pay $1million on Ebay, before they shut it down, just so I could read this book? Answer me that!
