Hi, I'm an adult. Why was I not given the free choice in the markeplace to read or not read O.J.'s book. I could have decided for myself if it had merit. As a student of the human psyche, I might have gained insight into the mind of an alleged killer. Why did I have to pay $1million on Ebay, before they shut it down, just so I could read this book? Answer me that!

Simpson had no right to even publish a book "If I Did It" It should read When I Did It ....I still can't beleive he got away with murder.

As an adult you must realise that the book not only offended the relatives of those persons that simson alledgedly killed, just the title alone would give anyone food for thought, if its a case study on criminal psycology, then there are libraries full of great examples, this book was an attempt by simson and his publishers to make lots of cash from gullable readers, there would be nothing in the book that has not been already written, its an obvious attempt to cash in on a crime and proffit from it. and it will not affect your ability to demonstrate your freewill as long as you do so within the law that our democratic society implemented
to protect the rights of other members of society that are the victims of the crime.LF

Most of the above answers are correct. Book was not banned but FOX did change its mind about airing the promotion and Nicole's family raised a legitimate stink about OJ's indecent try to gain from those vicious murders (for which I believe he's responsible). As fair as I want to be, I hope he rots in hell for it all.

The book was NOT censored. It was censured by public opinion. The publisher opted to kill the effort. You as a professional should be aware of the difference.

I just ran a search - I don't think it's been banned, but the families of the victims are calling for a boycott.

Oh please! Your curiosity will be satisfied soon. There will be excerpts either in the National Enquirer or some other rag.
