Harlan Coben is a master storyteller, often supplying twists and turns up to the epilogue even. Some of his books feature Myron Bolitar, former NBA player who was injured and went to law school after which he started his own agency representing athletes. Along with his college roommate, the Mayflower descendant psycho Win, he is often thrust into intense situations from which it is difficult to tell who the bad guys really are. The stories are well-written. The friendship between Myron and Win as well as his other odd assortment of associates is clever and often laugh out loud funny. But make no mistake, his stories will keep you up anxious to finish and just as anxious for him to hurry and write the next one.

I got you covered today Boss.....

This is a "must read" no matter what genre your interests are - The Rule of Four by Ian Caldwell and & Dustin Thomason

Have the patience to get thru the first couple of chapters, then the rest of the book is spellbinding and tough to put down. I paid $6 at Wal-Mart about a year ago, so it should go for about $2-3 at a used bookstore.

I love Lawrence Block's Matt Scudder mysteries. Also, James Lee Burke - Looking For Flamingos and others in that series. I also like Val Mcdermit - I Hear the Mermaids Singing and others in that series.
