another place that i have found (working on props) is micheals and/or joanne frabrics, in not sure about whole hams but they do have a number of different things i think i have seen a chicken leg... i just typed in fake foods into yahoo search and a pretty good site came up... fake-foods.com... the food looks real... sorry i dont have much personal knowledge but good luck! i feel your pain of having to find good realistic props!

Furniture stores used to have rubber food to show dining room tables and refrigerators more realistically. This doesn't seen to be the fashion anymore, so maybe a local furniture store would have some to sell or even give away.

make em quickly using salt dough in a 2/1 mix the salt preserves.

toys tr us has many food props in the girls section with cooking stuff.
