"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." - timo cruz(coach carter)

Three days ago I asked for some suggestions about what I saw as a major problem getting the perception right on a painting I had done. There were many answers, ranging from changing the color schemes to the painting not falling into the ‘normal’ rules of painting. With this being a surrealistic work those suggestions were pretty much ignored. But to those of you who helped with the perspective problem I thank you greatly. I was too close to the work to see the obvious and you saw it for me. Again, I thank you.

The before:

The after:

The floor was tiled, the door was raised and the rear wall was lengthened to add depth of field. I also made the chairs and table larger to help the woman appear smaller.

Now, what can you find wrong with the painting?

I've got this great idea in my head for a novel. ive tried before to write books but I lose intrest or cant keep it together right. I love how authors will put something in that doesnt have signifigance untill the end or at least later part and it make you sit back and think "OH! so thats why so-and-so did this, cleaver!... she was playing them from the start" and how an author can incorporate so many different conflicts without losing sight of the origional story. my question: how do i write an outline for a novel. how much should i put in it. what shouold i put in it. how do i come up with all those little plot twists along the way. if ive got a good begining idea, how do i develope that enough for the outline.. etc. any sites or advice from authors? please and thankyou!

I have my main female character as a 34 year old woman named Dawn, what would be a good male name for a 35 year old man? I know I haven't given much description of them, but if you could give me as many names as you could I'd appreciate it. Thanks, and yes, I realize I posted this earlier, but I didn't receive very many responses at all..Thanks again!!

I have a strange relationship with a woman. She's 30 years old but she's still living with her parent. She also has a curfew that she's to be home before2.00am. She's working and studying master's degree. She told me that it was her culture that she has to live with her parent before she gets married. Now I think that I could never be serious about her because I feel that she's so immature. We have been dating for 15 months. What am I supposed to do?

T’was the 1st day of Thanksgiving and all through the land,
the Pilgrims and Indians were each lending a hand.
They watched the game on T.V. and had pretzels and beer,
then later stuffed themselves for that cold winters year.
On the table was turkey, pie and bright candied yams,
and cranberry sauce in the shape of a can.
They ate until all they’re bellies felt dazed,
the Pilgrims had corn the Indians called maze.
The Pilgrims shared recipes because the Indians asked “How”,
and the only animal that didn’t get eaten was Ol’ Betsy the cow.
They partied and celebrated and partied some more,
because the Lions were up 21 to 4.
On the Florida team Christopher Columbus bet 20 bucks,
on the team from Detroit Pocahontas bet 20 more, a raccoon and 2 ducks.
The children played outside the big wigwam tent,
they played Pilgrims and Indians because there were no cowboys as of yet.
The women washed dishes and spoke of emancipation,
but all agreed that it wouldn’t happen in this new Nation.
Sitting Bull and George Washington smoked Cuban Cigars,
while John Smith and Crazy Horse sat and played cards.
The day was about sharing and thanks – giving,
but more attention was paid to the spanking that the Lions started getting.
They called the children in and had ice cream and pie,
then packed up their wagons and to say their goodbye’s.
The Pilgrims invited the Indians to the next years thanksgiving that they
“wouldn’t want to miss!”
But the Indians still had a few Reservations about this.
All bid farewell and said “thanks for stopping”,
then ran out to the malls to start their Holiday Shopping!
