um... how long? If it is like under 300 pages read "Speak" that is a really easy read. By Laura Halsen Anderson. For something longer, like 800 pages read Shogun. Really hard read. BY James Clavell. A fun read is The Supernaturalists if you;re in to sci-fi, easy read by Eion Colfer. Other good authors, are Garth Nix, Hilari Bell, Erin Hunter, and Orson Scott Card . Try doing a less general question next time. A good site is www.sfbookcase.com good luck on the report.

I'd like to help you out but it's really difficult not knowing how old you are or anything that you find interesting.
Would you like something true maybe The Diary of Anne Frank?
Would you like something thats been around for a while,The Outsiders by S E Hinton?
Somthing modern and a little controversial Smack by Melvin Burgess?
If I knew a little more about what you need I'd suggest more titles I dont even know if these are at your level or below or above it. I hope you find something that you really enjoy though it will make writing about it much easier for you, good luck.
Karma.

Here's a few I think are good , but depending on your grade they might be over your head!
>The Big Bad Wolf- James Patterson
>Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo
>The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night
>Artemis Fowl
>Chickenhawk
These are just a few off the top of my head. Most of them are high school level, some less, some more! Hope this helps!

Memories for Summer...it's for any age group, but I recommend maybe like 8 years or older...it's a REALLY good book...I'm a young teen and I love it so much that I've read it like a million times...also I love the book Because of Winn-Dixie, but it's kind of for younger children (about 6-10 years old maybe?). Also I love the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books!!!

It depends on what grade you're in...it seems like you're probably in middle school? Well, at least /I/ haven't called them "book reports" since around 7th grade.
Read "The Golden Compass" by Philip Pullman.
