People keep saying that there is no such thing as perfection. If you think the same, then please explain to me why? What's wrong with being perfect, or trying to be perfect? I mean, if you have an ideal in your mind, your set notion of what perfection is, what's wrong with trying to achieve it?

Im a airbrush artist trying to look for a job in custom automotive painting. Im trying to find a internship or aprenticeship so that I can learn while on the job. Dont have enough money for school,(25,000$) and would have to relocate. Having trouble even finding local shops. Do you know of any websites that help you find this type of work, or offer any training? Any ideas on how to find this type of work would be helpful.Thanks.

I'm playing Nerissa from the Merchant of Venice in a class project. Is a french maid's costume okay? I really do want to look like a maid, instead of one of those "sex icon" women wearing the costume. Or what else can i wear?

Public radio just played the score from "The Plow That Broke the Plains" by Virgil Thomson. One section of it sounded very familiar to me. I believe it is a cowboy song that I have heard before. Did Thomson compose it, or did he incorporate an older song into his score? If it is an older song, what is its original title?

I know Y! A has the commercial now and may have attracted stupid people but man, this category is for intellects, and the question I’m seeing aren't intellectual, I can see having spelling and grammar errors, but just plain dumb questions.

------------------I know I’m about to get the bucket for posting this question, but you have to admit it, especially the older users, who were here before the layout changes.

I have all the information I need to find my ancestor, but the link I'd naturally click to get the information is a paid service.

Does any kind soul have an Ancestry.com account and would be willing to do a simple search for:

Name: Dominik Jaworski
Residence: 1910 - city, Erie, New York

and get the information from the 1910 Census Record?

I joined the Actors club at my highschool. I was highly disappointed. Instead of a place to discuss acting, I found it to be more of a social spot. I love theatre and acting and as such I take it very seriosuly. I want to start a group where other teens and I can perform pieces, talk about strategies, ideas, what works and what doesn't. Basically, all the stuff they never talk about in class. I would eventually love for the group to put on a play but for now I just want a place for other acting teens to bounce ideas off of each other. I live in a fairly small town and theter is not big here. I'd love to hear from people who have done this.Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you soooo much!

Even if we accept the Big Bang Theory
One mystery remains... What caused the Big Bang?
Everything that begins to exist must have a cause.
If the universe began to exist, then the universe must have a cause.
And the cause could be God.
If the big bang theory is true, then we can conclude God is not the same as the universe and God is not contained within the universe as he would have to stand out of it in order to create it.

Which brings my question
Why did he built such a vast Universe to put a tiny planet in the middle of it with only two people on it?
