I think Manny is a good guy who just wants to help. But PLEASE he should not get into politics. Politics would destroy him. Another Filipino sports hero who went into politics was basketball player Freddie Webb. He was asked his opinion on this question and he quickly answered that Manny should not run. Because right now as a sports hero, he has no enemies. The whole nation is united with him. But as soon as he enters politics he would be hated by some. Here in the Philippines, elections are decided by mudslinging. They'll dig up some dirt on pacman or maybe even invent something completely false, and this will destroy him.

Is it really his decision? Or is it the public's decision? I haven't heard much of this, but i think he should stop boxing while he's still healthy. As for what he does after his boxing career, i'm not quite sure. I don't know where he stands on politics either, though if he is running i bet he'll win.
