I know Y! A has the commercial now and may have attracted stupid people but man, this category is for intellects, and the question I’m seeing aren't intellectual, I can see having spelling and grammar errors, but just plain dumb questions.
------------------I know I’m about to get the bucket for posting this question, but you have to admit it, especially the older users, who were here before the layout changes.

Well Miss justcurio..., any spelling errors I have were put there purposely, and the spell check for those posting the question only works on the title, so the body will have spelling errors. :)P

spewing_o..., you are correct and incorrect in your statement, for one I will accept the fact that I my misuse of the –tense of stop was wrong, but thanks for pointing it out, further the question is a “Why” question and not a “How”, “how” would apply that I don’t know what has happened since I’ve stopped using Y! A regularly, and in this case “why” refers to the fact that I do know what has happened; I just want to be ****.
“Why would you do that?”-this one not requiring a response
“How did you do that?”
Two different questions, further “have” I should’ve caught that one, sux that you did and have just made this question pointless, and took it down a few pegs.
But 1 question, why didn’t you attack the body of my question????? Hummm
I knew I was going to get the bucket :)P

The bucket again, thx, but this time it's coming from the guy that asked about emancipated and signing legal papers several times, and choose to leave out parts of my answers, parts that state "pretty much" to hell with this question, I don't know what I'm talking about but here is a link to a place that has the answer.
"Why/Why not?", which stands to question a greater picture, or gain a understanding.
"How"seeks to question process, precedures, and directions. As in "How to?", "How did?", or"How far?"
both ask a question and request information. How leads and Why follows, in law the term leading(a objection) occurs after a how question, why questions follow another why question, theres a difference.
The similarty between the two exist in the question "What?".
Im going to agree with you on your first part. Most people in today society do regard philosophical Q&A as either mental rants, or fools play. Why question what is hard to answer?
