You're aren't too old, to go competitive to Olympics, maybe, but not too old to do gymnastics!
People in their 20's even start gymnastics and it is well worth doing. It is fun and keeps you in great shape.
I hope you join and have fun in gymnastics!

You absolutely are NOT too old! You can start now by asking to be assigned a gym class in school, and you can, with your parents' approval, even join a private gym and take lessons. They aren't terribly expensive - ask your family to make a years' worth of gymnastics training at a private club your next birthday present! If everyone - parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and whomever usually gives you gifts on your birthday contributes instead of buying you presents, you'll have it made.
If all this happens, give it your best efforts for a full year. That'll be enough to be sure whether you want to continue or would rather try something else like competitive swimming, cycling or even competitive dancing. Did ya know there's competitve dancing and that there are national and worldwide competitions in it? Y'might become the world champion in jazz dancing or latin dance. How kewl would that be!

True, many people start different athletics very young in hopes of the Olympics or something. But, 13 a good age to start and it keep you well toned. I not know how you would go about this, I guess there private trainers that may help you progress a little faster, if they not too expensive.

13 is not too old to start with gymnastics. It just take willpower and desire to learn. You can learn at any age.
Just don't compare yourself to your friends immediately. Take your time and work at learning as much as you can.

You are never too old, all you have to is put your mind and will to it. People think a 70 year old is too old to get an education, but at least they are trying, You can do anything in life when you have the will to try your hardest.

No you are not too old. However, you will have to work four to five times as hard as your friends to learn the muscle coordination and balance.

Absolutely not!! You are so young still. I am contemplating taking my first semester of ballet and I am 31. I asked myself this same question when I was your age...I never took that leap and started dancing again after quitting when I was eight. Please go+for=it.
