I feel like Answers is so superficial and doesn't really delve into interesting or intellectual topics. My favorite artists are Heironymous Bosch, MC Escher, and Salvador Dali but I enjoy many many more.

Anyone know what that thing is called that ink is in. In the past when things were written using a quill and ink, I know that the container holding the ink is called something specific but I can't remember. Please, anyone know? It's for a story.

I have to write and inclass esay of Thursday about Ceremony and I havent read the book, so I am using Cliff notes. Anyways the topic of my essay assignment is: One of the strongest human drives seems to be a desire for power. Write an essay in which you discuss how a character ina novel or a drama struggles to free himself or herself from the power of others or seeks to gain power over others. Be sure to demonsrate in your essay how the author uses this power struggle to enhance the meaning of the work.

Okay so now all I need is a theme of thesis for my essay...any ideas?

I find that religious people and agnostics /atheists don't fear death
(from the people I have talked to). Religious people believe they will survive their own death and enter eternal bliss, and atheists/Agnostics don't seem to care either way . I am also bothered by the fact that everything I love will come to pass forever one day and that the universe is indifferent to anything I care about. And my own life will end and I will be thrown into oblivion. Are my fears irrational or does anyone feel the same way?

I know that authors will send you copies of heir books to get an opinion from an avid reader....I just don't know where to look. If anyone does this or knows how to get into this please let me in on the fun. I am an avid reader and just think it would be interesting to see books before they go to the publisher. I'm not looking to proofread, although that is an option too, I just want to give helpful information to writers before publication. Only serious answers please.

How can anyone know what is in God's mind? The only reason they claim this is because someone told them it is so. How do they know what they were told is true? What proof is there?
