I don't mean on here. I mean about life, love, the universe etc?

I'd ask if there's a God. I don't believe that there is - but I'd like to KNOW.

I teach a year-long 10th grade English class and would like to add a new novel to our curriculum. I'd like something from a world culture other than the US, as the majority of the novels I have are set in the US. Currently we read (for novels) Of Mice and Men, A Separate Peace, and Z for Zachariah. These are very different in terms of difficulty, but they all work well in terms of discussion and analysis.

In general, I'd like a novel that would appeal to the age group and be about 200 (give or take) pages. In addition, it has to be a novel that will encourage discussion (vs. one that would be read more for just entertainment). Finally, as much as I would love to include Mockingbird or Lord of the Flies, or Gatsby, these are all taken by other curriculums in the school.

Thanks for any input!

Usually a portion of the video is blurred, for example the face of a person in an interview which involve confidentiality is blurred to avoid being recognised. How to do it or undo it?

i haven't felt a sense of true happiness in a long time but I hope my life improves some day. However, whenever I start thinking about that I get a sense of guilt. I know quite a few people who have it extremely tough and of course, with the lack of money you can never escape certain things. even if you pray. because we all have different problems and different character.

so, back to my question. if you've ever read the Bible, there is this passage in it where Jesus talks to a young man who is (I think) well off and good at heart but still unhappy. And Jesus tells him to give all of his money, everything that he has to the poor. not just some of it but all. and the man walks away in sadness. isn't that the point really.

what do you think
