80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

I am the meaning of my life. A life in which my thoughts, my opinions, my actions and my preferences count, for these are the things that make my life what it is, and what it should be. Apart from that, life is terribly meaning free thing, a continual and random transformation without any beginning or an end.

...being an eternal being...with eternity in your heart...this world and this life has no meaning, it is merely a temporary place, a holiday for the flesh, for you are a spiritual being, without the understanding that Jesus Christ is King of kings, Lord of lords, everything is meaningless, for we were all born in sin and we all have a Godly-void, an emptiness that only God through his only begotten Son, Jesus, can fill, and once that hole is filled by His Spirit...the meaning of life will have meaning! For God is Life, and it is by His Life, that you were bought while you were still a sinner, by His grace...we are saved...to live is Christ, and to die is gain...for we are Heavenly bound! Jesus said, the road that leads to eternal life, is narrow, and few will find it...now, ask your question again...are you tossed around by all the various confusions of so called religious systems, for the meaning of life won't be found in man-made traditions and institutions...wondering if the Truth is out there? ...it sure is, and it's even closer than you think...God is the Creator, just look at the wonders of nature, the things science can't explain...Abide in Him, and He will abide in you!

The most common question between people not at A&Q only but for thousands of years of our civilisation. Sometimes I presume it is a side effect of our ability to think. And if we don't have anything better to think about we end up on endless meanings of life...And it will be different for different people. Personaly I like the idea of gain new knowelage

To live and love all that is around you. To see beauty in everything. To show compassion and kindness to all living things. To work hard thinking only of others. To enjoy living. To keep going through the sadness and to try and remember the happy times. To bring joy when you are happy. To leave the world a better place than when you arrived. To feel good about yourself. To feel positive about your looks and to hold your head up because you achieved all these things. To forgive yourself when you make mistakes and to learn from these mistakes. Is that enough?

The Tao that can be spoken is not the true Tao. No one may put into words their life's meaning even as it comes to a close, but all have a part to play.

I think nobody knows the answer of this question.we tend to know the answer but in reality we all are ignorant. It is not that easy question. First you will have to understand yourself, to understand the meaning of your life and there are not even 0 .1% people in this world who succeed to understand them self. Mahatma Buddha left his palace in search of the answer of this question and when he found the answer, he was totally changed personality, he was not the one who left the palace and all his luxuries as a crowned prince. We are mere animals who are passing our time here on earth and we think that we are Superior beings but no we are educated animals that's all.

Trying to figure out what the meaning of life is.
But most of the time, just to live and enjoy, without obsessing about it all.
