haha i used to ask myself the same question all the time.. i always hoped that my life would go exactly the way i imagined it would be if i did everything right.. the truth is, not everything goes the way we always planned.. we cant really take control of our destiny but merely influence it with the decisions or choices we make .. however if something is meant to be mate, just give in you cant fight fate.. watch 'the butterfly effect' with ashton kutcher, its insightful and explains a great deal =)

we are incontrol of our own destiny in the sense that we make the cruicial choices from time to time that determine the path we take in our life's journey.
However..there are also many times we silently ask the god/s of our religion for a little guidance,and we ask whoever it is up there for a miracle, or help.And sometimes things happen in a miraculous way that makes us believe that somethings in our lives are beyond our control.Some people experience this and some never experience this all of thier life time...
All in all I think we are in control of our destiny with a little help from the "person up there" during the ride.

No, as long as you believe you are separate and apart from God.and have a will of your own.you are only in control of your circumstances. From before the onset of creation God visualized all things to the smallest of detail then realeased it into manifestation through the big bang, all "destiny" predistined with that "Vision". NO, you do not control your destiny. You are litterally God expressing a part of his vision of himself.in your heart you already know this is true.

Oh yeah, I definitely believe that we control our own fate. Sure, things are going to happen to us that are ultimately out of our control, but the idea of fate is what you do with the things that you have no control over.
The choices we make decide our fates. So yes, of course we do. The circumstances that force us to make choices are just life.

You have some control, but there is only a limit on how much control you have. Think about it, if someone is born retarded, they will never be able to merge quantum mechanics and physics together. Or if someone is born with their legs, they will never become the world's fastest sprinter. There are limits.

I dont beleive we have total control in out own destiny: my Dad was driving home from church when he was killed by a speeding 17yo. Was that his destiny? he had lots he was looking forward to.

Yes there is always two roads ahead....
you can choose eihter of them and lead your way...
Its depends on you which road you choose ..? and how you lead ur life...? so god always gives you a chance to choose if you sit like this nn keep asking question then dear definately you wont control ur destiny..:)
