I'm interested in getting involved in Civil and Revolutionary War reenactments, and I was wondering what and how many period clothes I will need to start. I'm 20, female, and in college.

Is it morally acceptable to set up manufacturing facilities in other countries and pay the workers poverty level wages so that the prices for those items here in the states can be reduced, and the profits of the upper corporate branches be outrageous? Is there a difference in this and how some say our latin neighbors are stealing all our jobs here in America?

We are all here for a reason on a particular path
You don't need a curriculum to know that you are part of the math
Cats think I'm delirious, but I'm so damn serious
That's why I expose my soul to the globe, the world
I'm trying to make it better for these little boys and girls
I'm not just another individual, my spirit is a part of this
That's why I get spiritual, but I get my hymns from Him
So it's not me, it's He that's lyrical
I'm not a miracle, I'm a heaven-sent instrument
My rhythmatic regimen navigates melodic notes for your soul and your mental
That's why I'm instrumental
Vibrations is what I'm into
Yeah, I need my loot by rent day
But that is not what gives me the heart of Kunte Kinte
I'm tryina give us "us free" like Cinque
I can't stop, that's why I'm hot
Determination, dedication, motivation
I'm talking to you, my many inspirations

I've got to think up a theme and then create pictures using words in order to present that theme. It's something like making a picture out of words but the words have to have the same meaning as the picture. Almost like putting a picture into a thousands words or like making a picture with a thousand words which mean the same as the picture. Thanks!

You know how people will say something like, "Oh, yes, Tale of Two Cities, what a great piece of literature, it was really..." and go on about it and the like...now, how many people do you think actually know what they're talking about and/or actually liked it? Does anyone, or are we all just supossed to so its like an unwritten rule that everyone pretends to like it? Many of the 'classics' that no one shuts up about (nor understand) I think are pure garbage. Others are great. What do you think?

some books are uplifting, others make you feel sad, some informative, life-changing even, some make you laugh, but which ones really made you angry and why? Did you ever throw it across the room for instance?

I know nothing about the authors of any of them. Nor have I read any reviews of the books themselves. I just grabbed these 3 at Borders today off the sale table because I needed something new to read this week.

Tell me what, if anything, you know about these.

1. The Bright Forever by Lee Martin

2. The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards

3. Julie and Julia -My Year of Cooking Dangerously by Julie Powell

Thanks!

I am a guy dressing up as a Debutante for Halloween (its meant to be fun). My sister has arranged for a ball gown, heels and my hair will be up LOL. She even arranged an escort for me though she won't say who except that HE wants to dance properly with me.

So what kind of dances would a Deb typically dance and is there anywhere to learn any basic steps by the weekend?
