I've learned some things about the different philosophers and their beliefs in articles mostly, but the only real book I have read is Plato's "The Trial and Death of Socrates" and I really enjoyed it. I'm going to the book store tomorrow and am going to look around but if you have any suggestions that would be great!

I didn't know whether to put this under books & authors or not but I figured that because the subject is philosophy I might get more answers here....lol, thanks!

I was looking around for an essay contest for kids or teens that I could enter that offered cash prizes or gift cards, whatever. I don't want to be given one of thos phony websites that say you will win like a million dollars. A for real one.

i have several collections of things that i dont really need but have managed to collect over the course of several yrs... crafters out there.. PLEASE do you guys have any ideas on what to make from them?
*lots and lots of multi-sized buttons
*lots and lots of cute candy wrappers
*lots and lots of Altoids tins
*lots and lots of McDonald/Burger King happy meal toys
*lots of those little thing you get in those little capsules for 50 cents.. like little plastic aliens and figurs of the simpsons and stuff...
*lots and lots of googly eyes
*a weird necklace chain i got for about 10 cents at a craft festival
*lots and lots of junk mail/magazine clippings
*lots and lots of braiding cord
*lots and lots of ironed bead creations (the kind we used to make when we were little?)
*lots and lots of marble
*LOTS of paper clips
*lots of little charms that come with your pencils (little Pikmin characters, little puppies... etc)
*lots of beads
*lots of plastic bottle-caps
etc.

i want to be a tacher... in specifically a art teacher.. a high school art teacher. i not sure really what to do to prepare for it though.. im still in high school, a junior... but im not sure if i should take some extra classes or something.. and if so, what kind. and does anyone know of any good colleges for an art teacher?? what would i major in?? something with art?? or teaching?? please help if you can. thank you.

There are various places after he turns to the dark side where he acts with and uses eyes very well. It may be make-up, I'm not sure. There is one instance, when he's in the lava planet and he's looking around with his cape and hood on, his eyes are so angry and dark. How do you do that when acting, how do you make your eyes go so angry and evil like that?
