Hey! Probably if you type in Letters for Literature on google, it will give you the entry deal. This contest basically you write an author on how their book has effected your life, then you can send it to them through the mail. There are certain amount of winners every state, they win a 50 dollar gift card to Target then, the finalist of each state after they choose, gets a 500 dollar gift card later, as well as, a free plane trip with their parents and teacher, and they read at Washington D.C. go to the website, it gives you samples of the essay, and a better idea of what you can win. Hope you win!!!

Scholastic has one they do every year-7-12 grade. Art,writing etc. 12 graders get scholarships etc. Also if your school has a PTA or a PTSA, the National Arts in Education program(contest) is going on right now- we give out gift cards, ribbons and certificates for acheivement etc. Some schools give trophies and baskets of goodies....

If you have a spiritual bent, you can try the Guideposts magazine annual contest for teens. They have a website.
