Sounds like a fun craft idea. Find some fairy wings photos. Buy some wire, color netting, Some fairy dust, sparkles. Maybe in gold a brown tones or vibrant colors of purple and red.
You can do it.

I have made fairy wings using wire coat hangers & fine fabric- mold the wire to the shape you want & then cover with the fabric- add glitter /paint whatever you wish to decorate- you will need 2/4 hangers & join them together by twisting the hanger parts around - then cover with fabric

they sell fairy wings at Renaissance festivals, check and see if there is one going on close to where you live. I'm in Ohio and they're going on until the end of October. or just get online and order some...probably too late though.

I in simple terms offered lots of on the greenback Tree. - I gave my daughter a butterfly backyard party final year. I made lots of chinese language lanterns out of scrapbook paper and hung them everywhere and made extraordinarily butterflies out of cardboard bins.
