I know nothing about the authors of any of them. Nor have I read any reviews of the books themselves. I just grabbed these 3 at Borders today off the sale table because I needed something new to read this week.

Tell me what, if anything, you know about these.

1. The Bright Forever by Lee Martin

2. The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards

3. Julie and Julia -My Year of Cooking Dangerously by Julie Powell

Thanks!

I appreicate the suggestions. I checked the "official" reviews on the books. But that's not really what Im interested in. I prefer to hear what REAL people who've read them think. Thx!

I saw an interview with the author of Julie and Julia. Julie decided to cook every recipe in Julia Child's recipe book. She did it in her little tiny apartment kitchen. It sounds like an interesting read.
