I saw the tour in DC last night. I was really excited since I spent about $150 per ticket for a friend and I. We had great seats and a perfect view. It was pretty good at first, but then the shock of seeing them face to face wore off and I was bored to death. I am a dancer and have been since I was 3 (I'm 30 now), and I appreciate their talent, but it just dragged on and on for me. Everything was overpriced and it ran WAY too long. If they had ended it at the intermission I might have felt differently, but by the end I couldn't wait to get out of there and go home to bed!

" We should desist from aspiring for the fruits of our karma (action). The Gita exhorts us, Karmanyevadhikarasthe ma phaleshu kadachana (you have right only in action, not on its fruit).

Man is born in action,
sustained by action, and
ultimately merges in action.
Action is the cause for pleasure and pain.
Truly speaking, action is God for man "

Any thoughts from ur side to ponder?

Sometimes singers will purposely mispronounce 2 rhyming words, so they don't rhyme anymore, just for "effect" - even if the singer wrote the rhyming lyric, they will sing it so it doesn't rhyme. Usually when they perform live, but ceratin singers (like Ambrosia P. from the band "Shivaree") will do it even in the studio.

I am guessing that there is a TERM for this musical device. I am also guessing that singers have been doing this for centuries.

Does anyone know-
1) if there's a word for this?
2) other singers who do this a lot?

Thanks...

Do you see a difference in the two? I personaly think theater is like a movie theater and theatre is like a live production theatre.

I am dyslexic and anything with numbers is simply confusing right and left for me. Had to concentrate very hard some years back in photo class to remember my best settings for 400 Ilford B&W and night shots with available lighting. Could use some suggestions on recommended settings for night again, and also days with moderate to bright sunshine. Thanks.

example of previous night shot:

and any easy methods of remembering settings!!
