Depending on what negative thoughts you are having, you should consider seeing a therapist at school. You might need medication. At the very least a therapist is trained to help you get the most out of your studies by teaching you concentration and study techniques and helping you lower your stress to improve your memory.

Pick a quiet place to study, and be sure you will be uninterrupted. When you try to study, be sure the area is as clutter-free as possible. If you like to listen to the radio while studying, try to make the music low and DON'T try to study while listening to rap. Pick music that is background only, so you don't wind up singing along; that defeats the whole purpose of trying to concentrate.

If you are still having problems, try to find out the source of the negative thoughts, and either promise to solve that issue before you try to study, or AFTER, not during.

Negative thoughts happen. Sometimes the best thing to do is write them down on paper, and then take that paper and place it away from you while you study. Get it out of your mind and away from your view.

Good luck!

Create a very strong thought about importance and priority of studying, and how studying will help. If necessary convert the thoughts in words, even written words, keeping the words within reach to lean upon it for strength when required. It is almost like creating an image of the very strong "ME" to take support from whenever needed ! Only, the effort must be genuine, sincere and with involvement to make it work !
Best wishes.

The way that works for me is to replace them with positive thoughts. Make a list and keep them on your desk, and repeat them out loud several times when this happens. Some ideas:

I'm very focused on my homework
I'm a great student, and I'm going to get this done and done right.
I'm doing my best, and my best is great.
I have a good brain. I can figure things out.
My teachers and my parents believe in me.
I believe in my ability to learn and grow.

You will probably feel silly when you first start doing this, but I have used this and it works if you do it enough times and over enough time. You've been telling yourself the bad stuff for so long that you have to put a lot of good stuff on the other side of the balance in your head.

My simple suggestion to u is , just dont consider those thoughts or dont give any importance over that. It means you should not brood over those thoughts. U can have a combine study with ur friend who is compatible with ur memory capacity. This may make u concentrate only on studies as another person is with u.

Concentrate on what you are doing. Then take a ten minute break and have glass of water or tea. Go back to what you were doing in a quiet atomosphere and you will find that it is easier to concentrate without unforeseen thoughts intruding.
