The Canterbuty Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer;
The first link gives side-by-side Old and Modern English versions.
The second has only the modern English.

Originally it is written in English. What language do you want it to?
I read this book, it is very interesting and nice tales.
Geoffry Chaucer is the writer.

it's chaucer you're after - it's not an easy read, i warn you - written in ancient english.
