The greatest miracles are there in our own mind !

Some or the other miraculous event happens in everyone's life.

The point is when we do not understand the cause and effect relationship, we think it is a miracle which has happened rather than an event that has been caused.

Now just look at this example.
The poor beggar on the street who does not know where his next meal is to come from seems to be happier than the rich people who have so many other worries to cope with(for proof of this just peep into their sleep habits). But that is not the miracle - the miracle is that despite knowing this, all of us prefer to be rich.

There are miracles and miracles, as long as we can not ascertain all the causes of all that happens.

Depends on what you define as a miracle. Some may claim the impossible and unexplained as miracles where as others might claim the simple pleasures in life are miracles. For me its the little things, like bringing a smile to someone's face who hasn't smiled for a while or holding your first child in your arms or watching your parents after being married for 25 years behave like teenagers in love all over again. Yes, miracles do exist, they happen each and every day in different ways, seen or unseen.

That would depend on which meaning you're using:

1 : an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs
2 : an extremely outstanding or unusual event, thing, or accomplishment
3 Christian Science : a divinely natural phenomenon experienced humanly as the fulfillment of spiritual law

If it's Number 1, well, there are those who think that life itself is a miracle. But where some see "divine intervention", others see natural causes.
So, the response would depend on the answerer's faith (or religion) - or the lack of those.

Every time I wake up in the morning, I consider that a miracle. I look at my children, that reminds me that miracles happen. What's the point of living if you don't have any hope or wonder what the next day will bring?

I choose to believe the God I serve has miracles as much today as He did in Bible days. Maybe not on the same scale as alot has changed over time. We don't hear about them as was recorded in the Bible. I can tell you that I believe I was part of a miracle and no one could make believe any different. I lost custody of my son many years ago and decided that I was shamed beyond repair. I tried to commit suicide. God as my witness, this story is true. I had called my manager at the time who lived 90 minutes away. I knew he had no way of rescuing me. He called a couple that I was close friends with. They had gone to a work party. Marsha later said that she was at the party and had a really overwhelming feeling that something was terribly wrong. She told her husband they had to get home, something was wrong. She didn't know if it was her kids or parents or what. As they were unlocking the door they heard the phone ringing. They hurried but the key stuck. Marsha was yelling at her husband to hurry up. He unlocked the door and ran to the phone. Just as my manager was hanging up Terri yelled in the phone. My manager actually was almost to put the phone down when he heard someone yell in the phone. Long story short. He told Terri what was happening. Terri jumped in the car and flew to my apartment. By that time I was starting to accept my fate and the pills were slowing seeping into my system. He tried to get in the apartment but I had locked and bolted the door. He ran down stairs and called 911. He ran back upstairs and literaly busted the door down. It took 9 people to hold me down. I fought so hard but then all of a sudden the pills overloaded my system and I went limp. The paramedics lost me 3 times before they hit the hospital. My friends were told to call in my family that it was serious. My family lived in another state and ties were not good. They did make the call and my girlfriend stayed at my side. Even the doctors, would tell you that it was more than just them that kept me alive. I have had my son back for a long time and that shows that God sees the bigger picture. If I had died, I would have missed out on so much. My life is good and I am serving the Lord.

My little boy~Joel~ is nothing short of a miracle. He was born with a very rare heart condition. He was in the hospital for over 3 months. He was never to walk or talk.
Joel is going to be 4 next week, he goes to Pre-School, walking and talking.
You came to late to tell me miracles don't happen.

Go to Puttaparti Sri sai baba at Puttaparti near Bangalore in India . Miracles keep happening every day with such ease that people have forgotten that it is a miracle.( I am talking of the sacred ash which keeps falling from the tip of Baba's fingers without any vessel or pouch in his hand).

Yes. Life is a miracle. Trees, mountains, animals, babies, snowflakes. It's a miracle that any of it exists.

Plus, once in a while I walk on water. Tee hee

The fact that somehow there is life on this planet is a miracle.

The fact that our moms reproduced us is a miracle.

The fact that we are breathing is a miracle.

The fact that two strangers can connect to each other on Internet is a miracle.

Sick people suddenly experiencing their sicknesses go in remission, without any apparent reason, is a miracle.

The fact that a prayer by a world war-2 soldier's mother made him LITERALLY INVISIBLE to his enemies, where all of his fellow soldiers died, when enemy-army chose to shoot them all (when unarmed) one by one.

The fact that India is still surviving after repeated terror attacks of last 46 years, and that it still does not respond to it with some sort of anti-terror activity, is a miracle.
