I want to direct a play for my musical theatre company... I was thinking the 'slipper and the rose'??? I know it was adapted for stage recently and I know KATS did a production of it. I can't find the scripts/ rights for it... I've looked on Weinberger and Samuel French and nada!
HELP!!!!!!

Hi,

Perhaps you could try telephoning Samual French or Josef Weinberger, and asking them if they know who holds the amateur rights? I've done this in the past, and they've always been very helpful.

Have you tried to contact the writers guild of america? This is where I register all of my scripts and if that doesn't work I have an entertainment attorney that I can refer you to.

I did a search for it and I see where you are finding it a little difficult. Depending on how recent it came out it might be restricted.
