The best one is get down on your knees. Now put one leg out then straighten your back and stretch over your leg for 1 minute. Repeat with the other leg. Then, get on your knees again, and stick out the back leg. Sit on it and bend your back and head back. Repeat with the other leg. Now, go down to your splitz, and hold it there for 30 seconds. Do not bounce in splitz to get lower, or you will injure yourself. Go as far down as you can in splitz, pointe your toes and straighten your knees. Do the other side of your splitz the same way. I know this technique works, because I did it and I teach it. I am a pre- proffesional ballerina and jazz dancer. THIS WORKS REALLY WELL!!!!

Yes you must stretch, yes flexibility matters but if your looking to get a split fast easy and SAFE you must stretch before attempting to try a split. I used to coach gymnastics so im saying this from experience.
The way I taught splits was to get in the lunge position, put your arms up and push forward, stretching your back leg out straight and back your foot turned over so the bottom of your foot is facing up. Hold this for 30 seconds then push your front knee straight and place your forehead as close to your knee as possible then slide down as far as you can without straining into a split. ( Do not push yourself too far, you could tear a ligament) Hold your split for 30 seconds and repeat with the other leg.

Can't do it fast...but it will help stretch the muscles you will need to be able to do them.
Sit on the floor. Put one leg behind you and extend it straight (kinda like half a split). Then, bend the other leg in front of you (kinda like half an Indian-style sitting position). Then just roll your body to where it would be if you were doing the splits. You should feel the stretch in BOTH legs in the hamstring area.

properly the suited thank you to heat up is: first in basic terms get heat by using working on the spot then attain down on your ft and strech perform a little lunges then sit down on the floor which includes your 2 ft jointly and leap your knees then bypass right into a lunge lower back and produce your back leg back slowly till your so a ways as you may bypass and save doing that and you'd be doing the splits precise away!

no stretches will help you achieve it fast AND safe, believe me. your level of success will depend on your age and flexibility. try this stretch - on all fours, back up to a wall. place left knee down in the crook where the wall meets the floor, with your left leg and foot pointing up the wall to the ceiling. slowly place the right foot on the floor in front of you and your hands either side of your foot. stay there as long as you can. switch sides. this is a very intense stretch so take it easy. as you get more comfortable with it, you can start to raise your body up a bit and rest your hands on your thigh in front of you. good luck and go slow!

You must work on your flexibility. Start with simple legs stretches. It will take time, but you should eventually get it.

stretching doesn'r really help. trust me i know! its just a matter of flexibility. don't try to force youself to do the splits. you could try doing "half splits" and switching legs for a while. that might help.
Well, good luck! You'll need it! lol
