I bought a huge kalamkari work painted on a cloth from chennai(colour used blue/off white/yellow/marron).I recently got it framed, now i realise that some colour have spread to other part of the design. like one colour merged with other colour. Is it due to humid/moisture or a poor quality vegetable dye/colour. Have anyone expereinced it. Coz I really like the work and colour scheme -its mythological depiction.since it a big picture instead of a glass frame, plastic sheet has been used. As I mentioned the colour bloting is visible mainly on the border.Please advice some creative idea. (change)
