Richard Moir is a Queensland-born Australian actor.
His film roles include: In Search of Anna, The Odd Angry Shot, The Chain Reaction, Running On Empty, The Plains of Heaven, Heatwave, Sweet Dreamers, Going Down, An Indecent Obsession, Minnamurra, Deadly and Welcome to Woop Woop.
TV credits include: Prisoner (part of the original cast in 1979), 1915, Round The Twist and Dolphin Cove.
In 1990, Moir was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, the degenerative effects of which gradually brought his acting career to a premature end. Moir later underwent deep brain stimulation therapy, a process covered by the 2006 documentary The Bridge At Midnight Trembles[1].
