Scots come from Hibernia(Ireland) Welsh are indiginous to Britian and the English are a mix of Saxons,Angles ,Jutes and Norsemen so why do the non English Britons refer to themselves as Celts .As I understand it the word Celt was used to describe the non English speaking Britons when it was discovered a similarity between gaelic languages and a dead language once spoken by a race of Celts living in Gaul .This discovery was made in the 18th century but before this discovery no mention of the word Celt was ever used to describe the ancient peoples of Britian .So did Celtic people ever live on this island or is it romantic hype?

I recently went on an extended trip and took a ton of pictures. Right now they're all on my computer, but I'd like to print them and put them in a nice photo album. I'm not opposed to splitting them between multiple albums, but I'd like to have as few as possible. I have about 1000-1500 pictures... any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! : )

We want the best for our kids, we recently started them in music lessons, one wants to play the electric guitar and the other the keyboard, but is there any organizations that help with something like this, I know there are scholarships for college, and I am to a point of wanting to stop that is $40 a week that we just barely can afford. Our kids are 12 and 13 and they are in the band at school, but the guitar and keyboard are not instruments offered to them.

Hello, I read the book and I was wondering if any of the characters in the book were like real-life people. For example, was there anyone in real life like Mr. Stapleton who was extremely clever did horrible thing to just get money/estate? And was there anyone like Sherlock Holmes who was clever enough to stop him?
If you can give me the real-life people equivalent of those two characters, I'll very much appreciate it. However, if you give me the people in real-life who acted like Dr. Watson, Sir Charles Baskerville, or Mr. Stapleton's wife, you're SURE to get the 10 GRAND.
Thanks!

I have a tattoo that covers the top of my foot and I find from time to time the skin feels tight. All I have to do is put lotion on it and it's fine, but why does it feel like that. Did the artist gouge me? I have other tats and they never feel like that.

I've read that the ink used in Tattoos often contains carcinogens like Cadmium. Are there any non-carcinogenic tattoo inks? How do you know what's in a particular tattoo parlor's ink? Are they required to keep MSDS sheets on it?

Never do we know any of them,
An occurace of each day.
Yet still our life is invaded,
Invaded by the dead men.

Turn on the breaking news of the world.
What do they bring us today?
Is it the beautiful, new born children,
Or the hundred thousend dead men.

I'm sure that it is our God's will,
To bring out what's good in life.
Fill your short life with grace and joy,
for soon you'll be a dead man.

Is it the dead that brings this joy,
This happieness, this pride.
So we can end the day by saying,
At least I'm not a dead man.

I looked at this painting by picasso called "The Dream" -

I think it is beautiful but does anyone know who is the woman in the painting?
Picasso painted oil paintings of a lot of women like Dora Maar and others which are amazing, but I always wondered about the Dream...
See this gallery for some really nice ones:

There are many things we can't prove, but they do indeed exist: radio waves, microwaves cooking the food, Little Miss Daisy sleeping with her limo driver behind Mr. Daisy's back...
