I'm trying to find a great book I read many years ago back in the '80s
at the Selby Public Library in Sarasota, Florida. Am hoping someone
else has read it or knows about it and can help me find the title,
etc. so I can purchase a copy.

This book was about preserving national/state parks, but it wasn't an
ordinary book -- it proposed many futuristic (well, back then...)
concepts on revitalizing the role of these parks for the public with a
strong focus towards "green" thinking and energy conservation. Some of
the main ideas discussed in the book was the use of solar powered
trains, prohibiting vehicular traffic inside the parks,
environmentally sustainable cabins/facilities, etc. and it included
great pen/pencil sketches of the ideas contained within, including
maps, blueprints, etc.

It truly was a fascinating book that really made a big impression on
me back then and was full of great ideas on alternative ways of taking
care of and running national/state parks. It was also not just

I just finished watching Ron Howard's A Beautiful Mind. It is the story of John Nash, a Nobel Prize winner who was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Is it possible that all human minds are not healthy? Is it possible that all Human minds are sick (in that they are not working as they should in a healthy organism)? Could this just be a matter of degrees (some of us are sicker than others)?

Do not just rant. Try to back up your answer with more than just "I believes."

I did a few weeks ago just messing around. I entered some poem I wrote at least five years ago, and I just got a letter saying my poem was selected as a semi-finalist in a contest and I'm being published. Is this true, or a scam to get me to buy a book?

I am a beginner in the art world and found that I have a profound love for paintings, ewspecially oils. Just out of college and just landed my first "Real Job" I am finding that I don't have thousands to pay for artwork by established artist, but find joy in the beauty of the work I see on the streets and at art fairs. However I have a few questions for anyone that would have knowledge as to the following. When I speak to street artist, I am always asked to make an offer. How do I know what is fair? And how do I know if I am paying too much? Also do "Real Artist" need to be registered, and do their paintings need to be registered. Don't get me wrong, I love the peices I have, and feel they're worth every penny I have paid for them....I guess that by this comment alone I may have answered my own question, But I would still like input if anyone can share their expertise. Thanks Lynda

This question may belong in a pregnancy forum, but I figured that I'd get the responses I wanted over here. I'm a pianist/piano teacher, and my husband and I are about to start trying to get pregnant. I've got a girl's name picked out, Cadence Aria. My husband likes Cadence, but not Aria. I'd really like a beautiful, music-related middle name to go with Cadence. I thought about Cadence Harmony or Cadence Melody, but I don't really like those. I think Aria is beautiful, but my husband and I need something that we can both agree on. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!!

In my story, there's a girl whose living with her upper-class family in 1799 England. Her parents are really strict, really religious, very conventional, and very wealthy. Her parents DELIBERATELY made her weak character-wise, so that their daughter might always rely on them. But then the girl meets an artist, a poor artist, who opens to her of a world of freedom and passion. So, I'm wondering what could be the reason why the girl wavers between choosing to run away with this artist or staying with her parents. I need a GOOD and COMPELLING reason....not jsut the easy way out of it being money against love. Any physcological reason that bonds her parents??
