I disagree with Lin and most of you answering this question. Actually, I don't side with either of them. I am a Mac and a Windows user (PC actually stands for Personal Computer which can go both ways for Windows OS or Mac OS. It's just that over time, PC has caught the connotation of meaning Windows)
I use both Windows and Mac. If you want stability and more media production (video editing, pictures, music, etc), go with a Mac. If you want overall versatility and more generally accepted systerm, go with a Windows.
One good thing about Mac is you can run programs like Virtual PC to run windows inside the Mac OS or use a program like Boot Camp to create a new partition where you can do dual booting both into Mac OS and Windows OS (Intel based processors only). You can get Boot Camp for free from www.apple.com.

The best artwork is done on a Mac. And they have better commercials, LOL.

I think the proper question is: are you a Mac, Microsoft, or Linux?
I am a Linux.
