Is this all bogus or did this stuff really happen?! I'm just thinking of James Freys' "A Million LIttle Pieces," on OPrah and how his whole book was bogus....I hope Anthony's book is all true, but how can i be sure!?

Should we base our choices on past experiences? If we do that, are we really making a TRUE choice? Or can/should we/I choose something just because THAT is what I CHOOSE???

My husband's great-great-grandfather got married in 1915 in Indiana, but he gave his current residence as Lansing, Michigan, and his occupation as "Secret Service man." This guy had a history of lying and being a general cad (he claimed this 1915 marriage was his first, when he'd left a wife and son back in England in 1914), so I'm trying to confirm or deny this story. I can't find him or his family in the 1920 census, but in 1930, he's living in Ohio with a wife and son working as a salesman in the music industry, whatever that means. Any pointers are appreciated!

ok, this may sound really stupid but my father insist's I replace my now broken laptop myself. Only problem with that is I don't have a job, and can't get one due to school, and all the studying and extra-curricular junk i've been doing. Please if you can help me find someone who can pay me for my writing, including short fictions and poetry I would be really grateful.

Don't lecture me on how poetry is free either, nothing is free in this economical mess, everthing's getting more expensive, and peaple aren't getting any richer. So PLEASE help!

The René Magritte painting "Le fils de l'homme" (The Son of Man) is currently privately owned. Who is it that owns it?

I dont remember the artist, but the picture is a girl sitting in front of the fire, knitting. She has a long dress and white bonnet.

I know it's a dance, but I've only hear its name, never seen it danced. I've also read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxixe_%28dance%29 and http://dance.stanford.edu/syllabi/maxixe.htm It says that somehow maxixe is a relative to both tango and samba. I'm familiar with both Tango and Samba (as well as with many other ballroom and latin dances). Now I'm very curoius what the maxixe music would be like, and what the dancing would look like. Does anyone know?

I was thinking about Academy Art University, but I've heard mixed things about it. Like, how it's a waste of time and money. However, I've heard they have a good job placement rate. Has anyone graduated from there and had luck finding a good job in their field?

So, I'm doing an all out report on racial tension around the world. I want you to tell me EVERYTHING that you can about racial tension. I believe that everyone is racist/prejudice to some degree. Tell me what kind of stereotypes you believe about other races. What do you think we can do to relieve racial tension?
