People do that all the time. Most people ask questions to validate their own thoughts. People know the answers to personal dilemmas. They need to listen to their gut feelings..that's where their answers are.

Personally, asking a question you already know the answer to sounds kind of silly. But, then again, it's interesting to see how others would answer a question.

No but a lot of people (probably kids) do that. In psychology, these are individuals who are seeking instant attention (and some think fame) by creating questions that they have the answer already. There is a good chance that these questions was seen or read from an obscure source and hoping that no other had seen it or had forgotten about it. When other are baffled by their questions, it gives them an elation or self-gratification.

yes. because i may have "an" answer, doesn't mean i have "the" answer. answers are based on a person's point of view, and listening to other people's answers, can help us understand them better.
