every time i stare at them, even for like 6 hours I can't see the images.

Unless you mean Magic Images, the kind that are printed artistically as a single image, stereographs require a viewer in which both photographic images merge...by sliding the holder back or forward according to your prersonal interoculary distance. Due to them being taken slightly apart, their parallax differs creating images as seen by either eye. Other answers here give you methods of seeing the Magic images...which are quite amazing but they are not stereographs by definition.

Don't stare directly at them. Relax your eyes, and try to focus as if you're looking at something that's a little farther than the image, almost like you're looking through it. You know how sometimes when you're really tired, or you're just spacing out, your eyes go out of focus-they almost cross? It's the same thing.
