I've read A midsummer's nights dream three times now and none of my teachers ever quite tell what it means? Does anyone know what it means?

I remember reading as a child a book about these little people/animal type things that were sad about the world and built themselves into a little brick or mud tower type thing. I also remember the end was sad because they took their last look at sunlight. I was discussing the book and for the life of me can't remember or even locate the book or anything like it .I seem to recall the title being something like "the ----------- people". I don't konw if that is it though and if so the middle word still escapes me. Surely I can't be the only one on the planet who read this thing. If it helps jog any memories, the book was illustrated all in brown and gray, of the much I'm certain. This really serves no purpose but to satisfy my mind and to find the book to have for my kids someday. PLEASE HELP!!!

this proverb must mean something along the lines of:
don't instantly decide whether someone is guilty without knowing any of the facts.
------------------------------------------
the reason i need this is so that i can sound smart when i try to explain my slight disrespect to my asst. principal.
all i did was walk through the commons of my school at lunch with a baseball bat( i had to take some measurements on it for a class and their was no other way to get to the wood shop classroom) any who the guy was talking and even though he didnt say the words, it was the way he said it(also with disrespect). so igot a little annoyed and saids some stuff, it was the way i said it this time that got him mad.
even though you proboly didnt want to hear this i thought it might help picking a saying or proverb
Thanks

My mother and I have found a publishing company that is interested in publishing a book that we wrote. We have received a copy write on it. Are we in essence selling the copy write to the publisher? And if the title and sections of the piece are altered, does someone need to re-apply for a second copy write?
We are obviously novices but thrilled that our book will be put in print!
Thanks

..i am a christian by the way but i have noticed this.

i wonder why though. ...did these religions inherit these things from each other or are these things burned into our heads? or is it something else? ...maybe the story of christ is burnt into our heads and people get their religious beliefs from that somehow only they use a different story.

tell me the answer!

WE RODE THE STARS OF OUR DREAMS AND SOARED ON FREEDOM THROUGH THE UNIVERSE SEARCHING FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE STILL DREAMERS OF THE SAME DREAM. SEARCH AS WE MAY THE DREAMERS WE SO SEARCHED FOR WE COULD NEVER FIND, HAVE THE DREAMERS AND STAR-FAIRERS WOKEN FROM THE DREAM AND WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR OF WAKING TO NEVER FIND THEIR WAY BACK TO THE FREEDOM OF SOARING AMOUNG THE STARS? OR HAVE THEY TRAVELED TO A CORNER OF THE UNIVERSE YET TO BE TRAVELED BY US?

If those who we have lost should find this message, travel on fellow travelers! Dream the new dreams and travel the stars and carry our dreams with you, so that if we ourselves should someday be lost or wake from this dream that our dream will never die, and new star-farers born of our dream will travel among the stars as we once did and dream a dream born of our own, so that the dream will never fail the dreamer.
