Yeah... Kind of sounds like a phone call I had gotten. They wanted to send me on a 20 day cruise, to all these different exotic, and warm locations, with 1000 dollars spending cash. All I had to do was give them a credit card number, and they would bill me for 1600 dollars. Can you say too good to be true... A 20 day trip, with $1000 spending cash, for $1600... YEAH RIGHT! This too was a "random lottery"... I politely told them where to go.

Ah did you try asking Yahoo if they are running a lottery?
Did you actually enter a lottery offered by Yahoo?

I would suggest that one is not usually automatically entered into lotteries and that Yahoo isn't int he lottery business generally.

I would suggest that the email you got probably asks you to go to Yahoo and sign in and that it is really phishing for your account name and password.

I would say if you didn't enter into anything then it's not for real. If you read the subject of anything of the nature of you win... or something like that ignore it because it might carry a virus. I only go into E-mails that i know i sent to that person and there getting back to you or it's someone you know sending you a E-mail.

This is one of those spam e-mail you have to be wavy off. You don't get nothing for free and they might want information from you like a credit card number or something like that. So just forget it; and get a real job then you know the money is there for you at pay day.

Yeah, I won a million dollars that way!

The way it works is this - you have to give $200,000 to someone who already won the contest before. I gave my $200,000 to Albert Stupples of 18 Craghorn St. Then, after 1 year, you get $1.2 million back.

So, if you want, I can be the one you give your $200,000 to. Just drop the cash off in a suitcase at my front door.

No its a sham. Let me guess its from Africa, or the UK lottery? IF you didnt enter in a drawing you most likely didnt win. Check the super tiny print at the bottom of the page it will say something like "you may be eligible" or "upon confirmation of eligibility".
