I'm writing a story and that's my main character's name. WHat does she make you think of?

Also I'm stuck on something to put in to make it different from all other stories. Any ideas?

Is it because of the land or money wealth or other principles. This problem would go on and go on and on. If the arabs were unified, believe me there would never be anymore Israel. But God wanted Israel to exist and so it exists.

A friend of mine gave me a hologram several years ago ( probably close to 10 years now) I used to have it on my wall, with the special light shining on it, and it looked great. Then I moved and it was in storage for probably 5 years. The other day, I took it out of storage and shone the light on it, and could barely see it anymore.

There are movie remakes of old TV shows, cover songs, products that are marketed under a new name but don't offer substantial improvements, rehashed styles and tired trends....
My question to the great collective hive mind...seen anything new lately?

And no, you can't say "My baby."

PS- I always pick a best answer.

A group of us want to perform the mexican hat dance in college... got hold of some videos from the internet, but the footwork is so complicated!! If anyone has danced, or can put me on to some sites that simplify the footwork.. I'd be really grateful! Just the very basic steps.. Thanks!

I am amazed by how few people seem to know what happened even twenty years ago, let alone two thousand or twenty thousand years ago. If we don't know the past, we are doomed to repeat it, and frankly we can't afford to keep screwing up. I actually know people who don't give a fig about the planet or the future...they won't be here, so so what. I find that attitude appalling but widespread. Everything is okay so long as you get yours, etc.
A lot of people are lost spiritually and I think it may be because we've forgotten how to connect with ourselves and each other. If you aren't interesed in the past or the future, then you are denying yourself and essential connection; you're closing off a fundamental aspect of what it is to be human. We are individuals, but we cannot exist solely as individuals. We have to connect to be whole. Just wondering what others think about the present state of humanity, and how it bears on a lack of connection to history. good day!

I wonder if anyone else has noticed... I'm a dancer, so i feel it very strongly. There's a charm in performing(or even watching) folk dances as compared to classical or 'western' dance forms. If someone else has experienced that.. pls help me explain why!! :)

I mean, hard core fans know that we have been with him threw thick and thin since Book 1. So will you be truly heart-broken if Harry dies in the end? I know I will feel absolutely betrayed. I don't think I would have it in my heart to forgive J.K. Rowling.

Talking about India and Indians only strictly, So please you NRI's dont need to answer. Because you value Indian pride more than the Resident Indians, just the same way Mahatma Gandhi is revered more outside India.
