There are movie remakes of old TV shows, cover songs, products that are marketed under a new name but don't offer substantial improvements, rehashed styles and tired trends....

It's hard to find true originality because all art, whether it is a painting, a song, a book or a movie, it will always have been influenced by what came before.
I think that video games, however are actually becoming more original thanks to Nintendo's latest console, the DS and the hotly anticipated Wii. Both systems have sacrificed Hi-def graphics and gazillions of polygons in favour of completely new ways to play.

I think 'Lost' is the closest thing to original on telly right now. But if you want something artsy fartsy you could look at a sunrise/set or a cloud or a snowflake (all of which are always original).
Having said that I agree with you. I think people have become incredibly unimaginative these days. You have to grab originality, cos give it a week or a month and someone will be bringing out the new, improved and unchanged version.

In Darker Than Black this one youngster had a ability that as quickly as he activated it his fingerprints on something that he'd touched might glow and then growth! i want exploding fingertips lol And in Alive:the perfect Evolution (purely has a manga yet regardless of) one character has an "isolation" ability, he can isolate a community/element/individual and whatevers interior is risk-free and can't additionally be seen from the outdoors. And yet another guy's ability is a sprint shinigami woman that follows him around and if somebody breaks a promise with him, the shinigami kills them. i might desire to be incorrect, yet i do no longer bear in mind seeing powers like those in something.

Sean Paul is so original because he is his own person and he is not influenced by other people he doesn't care about what other people think he sings what he wants and the way he wants and yeah that does suck that a lot of things in our life aren't original anymore and you know what else is truly original?

Great question! I really had to ponder this. Bottled water. I know it is a few years old, but ask anyone 30 years ago if they would ever buy a bottle of drinking water, and they would've laughed.

well I see your point about how so much 2day is from so long ago. What about pirates of the carribean as a movie, made-with-rubber-bands chokers (you know the ones you can make, with different color bands... and actually, those came from some kids in my school I think) as for style.
