Imagined if you have no one to teach and tell you about God, God exist or God not exist and our believe is based on our society telling about God's power thats why we believe in God.

All I like to do on ANSWERS anymore is ask an occasional question, and maybe answer a question here and there. It seems like the thrill (if you can call it that) is gone. How did I lose interest in accumulating points?

Is our apparent human maliciousness a trait inherited from a more underlying universal design, or even a natural outcome of the organic evolution (dynamics) of the substances of the Universe? Or do you think maliciousness is merely a human perception and the Universe itself is truly beyond Good and Evil? Can our very existence, at least in part, define the nature of the Universe?

I think that all races in this world should not be categorized and stereotyped because we all are not perfect.

In the Old Testament God was always turning up as burning bushes and the like, sending mana from heaven, or talking directly to people etc. So those old Hebrews had no reason to believe in God 'cos you don't need to believe in something you can see. For example, I don't believe in my computer - it's right there in front of me, I know it's there. The God of today seems to require faith from his followers and isn't so obviously visible. Is that enough? Is that fair? Or have I got that wrong. NB You'll see from previous posts I'm an atheist, but I'm not bashing anyones beliefs here, just asking a good ol philosophical question.

The reason I want to know is that I get so tired of women hating you because you are you. It's time for women to grow up and realize that we should not hate and talk about each other (even though it may be fun lol :) ), but just kidding.

I read this in the mid 80s. The plot was a man who had to find his girfriend who I think was kidnapped by a dragon. The only part that I really remember is that the Merlin charachter has an ulcer and he advises him to drink a glass of milk. "Merlin" makes the glass appear with milk in it and drinks it and feels better.
Any ideas??? Thanks so much

I would like to write a book about my experiences over the past 7 years working as a wildlife biologist. I have worked in a variety of places: the arctic in Alaska, an army base in Tennesse, Florida, Georgia, Colorado, a small island off the coast of California (Catalina Isand), the Sierra Nevadas, San Diego, the Central Valley (CA). It would focus on my work, the sometimes colorful people I have worked and lived with on some of these projects, the crazy and sometimes dangerous situations I have gotten into working out in the wilds :dangerous animals (bears, snakes, etc.) dangerous people, quicksand, bombs, soldiers etc. on the army base. Sound interesting to anyone? Do you think only animal/nature lovers would be interested? I would add a lot of humor as well as many of the situations I have been in have been quite funny!
