Wow!! Contest!! Ur question reminds me of my school and college days when I used to participate in different debates, declamation contests, poetical recitation contests, folk song contests and many others also. How happy one feels after winning a prize in the contest!!! He gets a pat on his back from seniors, teachers, elders and for his excellent performance in the contest. Really those were the golden days and enjoyable too. Internet was not available at my time. So no question of participating in online contests. These days Internet is not only a rich source of information but also an excellent platform for various contests. Out of those contests, ‘Short Story Contests’ hold a good place. Below are some links of some websites which will certainly prove helpful to u in participating Short Story Contests. Ur specific requirement can also be met if these are surfed thoroughly and consciously. So get ready to cheer up urself and ur family members when u bring a smile on everybody’s face after winning accolades and prizes.

Try www.ourecho.com. They let you post your story for comments and now and then have contests that all posted stories are entered in. Prizes are $25 to $50.

there are literally 1000's of them. (PLAYBOY has been the right payer for some years, case in point.) you will detect them broken down into categories in an annual e book noted as author'S marketplace and short tale marketplace. Your community library could desire to have a replica of a minimum of one between them from the previous couple of years. sturdy success.
