I worked as an arts and entertainment reporter for years and didn't have any kind of a communications degree. But I could write (all those years of b.s.-ing my way through high school and university essays!), had a background in fine arts (drawing and painting with a lot of required courses in art history), went to a lot of films (which I've always loved and still do) and tried to keep up with the current music scene by going to concerts, reading relevant magazines and watching various music TV channels.
I would suggest getting a broad background in humanities-related subjects -- art history, literature, music, for example, to give you a solid base on which to build.
Then read lots of entertainment writing so that you know what you like and what you loathe.
I started by VOLUNTEERING to do movie reviews for a local daily newspaper in Canada because I wanted to get into the movies for free.
That led to a fulltime entertainment reporter's job at a larger daily and later a 2,000 word column on arts and entertainment in an international magazine.
By all means, get that degree, but get in as much practical work as you can too.
Good luck!

Having the RN after your call is only a count number of passing the NCLEX Nursing forums attempt. actually everybody with an associate's degree or a bachelor's can take the forums. a good type of human beings get their friends and then artwork someplace which will reimburse them to get their bachelors. it really is a good approach. notwithstanding, some associate's ranges are 3 years besides, so some imagine its basically as well to pass ahead and get the 4 year degree out of ways without delay. the form in hospitals on the instantaneous is to employ more effective nurses with bachelors and frequently you need to have it to get a administration position. yet another idea: in case you artwork as a nurse's aide for the time of faculty, , they are going to regularly reimburse your degree as well. also being an aide in a well-being center is a great way of seeing what the ecosystem is like. Being a nurse and nursing college is a lengthy, complicated highway, and frequently disillusioning so be prepared to draw close it really is extremely what you want. It should be a calling no matter if that is nicely worth it. Many advantages on your journey.
