I think of it as nature, but being that I have more than a bird brain makes me wonder should I intervene on their behalf only because I can? Would that not be playing "God"?

When I was in junior high school (a long time ago), we were reading a book and then a parent complained and the school caved, so we were not permitted to finish it. I was really enjoying it, and would like to read it now if only I knew the title.

Here's the basic plot: it's a take on the biblical Job story in which God and Satan are putting a man through some tests; however, as I remember it, it is told as if God and Satan are backstage in a theatre and Job is on stage responding to their directions. Again, this was a long time ago, so I may not have it exactly right. Any help will be appreciated--thanks!

It's great; weird; wonderfully acted. But I have two questions:
(a) Do you think Dickens is really that spooky, or is this version influenced by the X-Files?
(b) what in the world is going on?

Scenario- You realize you've spent a terrific amount of time trying to mimic other people. Not specifically, but what seems to make them fit in. When one day you realize this is why you're so stupid. Literally. You believe you're incapable of something as simple as math and perpetuate the idea by being with people who really are too dumb for math. Thus you choose not to be better than said person, cause it would mean a change in status. It would also mean acknowledging what they are. Ya with me?

TOMORROW is Uncertainty, a Mystery.

People are telling me that my daughter can recieve benefits for being Indian and I don't know how to go about checking into it. Her father and I don't speak so I'm not even sure what tribe his family is from. I was just told by some people that because she is part indian she could end up going to college for free. I'm just checking.

In the e. e. cummings poem "i have found what you are like", (which I have only read online) I have seen the eighth line as "deeds of gren thrilling light" and "deeds of green thrilling light"
Is "gren" just a typo on some websites, or is it a word made up by e. e. cummings?

Please do not answer this question unless you actually know, i.e. if you have the poem in a published book. If you are just checking online sources, please list them so I can see them as well.

Say you realize you’re pretty damn good, but you’ve hit many roadblocks. And sometimes you get discouraged by the not so little things like: Like not having the money to buy the materials you need or not getting the recognition you deserve or not having a supportive mate or perhaps pondering it you should set it aside your art and concentrate on having financial security instead?

So, why do you create?

Think about it and be honest. I’ll add my answer later.
