see I have this shirt idea and I really want to do it myself. I'm great with coming up with ideas but I can never draw them to even start. does anyone know any books that can help me draw people and make things look more reall and have more shape rather than broken lines

I have a beginning scene---a woman looking into a mirror, examining her face, seeing similar wrinkles as her mothers, then I'm stuck....I'm hovering around the idea of a woman with anger issues----thoughts? suggestions?

in college my black teachers would always bring up how bad the white people are and there were class full of white people. another black teacher would always give good grades to minority students and the white looking students were given average grades even though many of the students knew who the better students were.
Two of my friends had the same problem in their schools too, but they added that the chicano studies teachers were even meaner.

im really only talking about college professors, because i already know that not all educated black people are that way..

What's the solution? (to those that would say yes)
Me, I reflect back upon my twelve tears of FREE education, and realize that I just wasn't interested... but now know that I would have been, if only I had understood at the time that all that seemingly useless information DID ACTUALLY APPLY.
Would it help if somehow there was a means of demonstrating early where and how knowledge can and will be put to use?
Example: Math sucks, but there's no way to be a rocket engineer without it...
or
English sucks, but language skills are essential for being a famous novelist...
etc.
How to generate INTEREST in the young?
Discuss.

ok, someone said they'd be able to tell what kinda thinker i am by asking me this one question. they asked 'is the glass half full or half empty?' i replyed 'well it depends, if the glass was empty and was then filled up half way then i would say the glass is half full because it was in the process of being full. if the glass was full and someone drank half of it, then i would say the glass is half emtpy because it was in the process of being consumed.'

what kinda thinker does this mean i am? and does anyone else think this way? i mean this was my answer right away, i didnt think about this, it just came out naturally.

My school visited a college to see "Othello" and my fellow classmates were just being so stupid at some of the things they were saying and doing in the play. Why can't they just appreciate the art of acting?!?
