Well, you can but it doesn't really make sense. However, if you're trying to ask, " can we say beggars are lazy", yeah you can. But it's not completely true to say beggars are simply lazy. They are people with problems who should not be so easily summed up until you've walked a mile in their shoes.

A beggar is a person, and laziness is a character trait. Thus they are not comparable. There is a connection though, of the beggars that aren't mentally ill, a large percentage are lazy. I can speak with some authority on this because I spent 2 years as a personal outreach volunteer. In this capacity I talked to many homeless people one-on-one and tried to help them find their way out of that situation.

You can compare a beggar to laziness as well as you can compare a Krishna to laziness. You can compare a beggar to many things. Some negative, some positive. In fact, we are all beggars. We are all in need, because we all desire. It is a matter of balance. Quid pro quo. This for that. Maybe a beggar is simply pre-occupied with other endeavors to worry about work. Maybe they're just nasty, worthless wastes of oxygen. One thing I do know, judgement should never come into play when one is hungry. For any reason, be it laziness or not. Hunger is hunger. However, you can never help someone that will never help themself. If you gave a homeless person everything they needed, you would be homeless yourself. Then who would assist you? Who will help you if you are ever in need? Who? A loved one? A stranger? Whom?

In Literature no. but you can but mostly compare a beggar with miserableness. It Mostly Depends On The Beggar him/herself The fact that they are begging May Take Away some of that laziness. If They Are Doing Something to earn the money such as singing or performing, then they are in fact not lazy. Whereas if they were just sitting there waiting for the money to fall on their lap then they may be labeled lazy.

Each lazy person is not a beggar but each beggar is a lazy person.

They would not be consider lazy if they had exhausted all the channels for getting a job (in the status quo definition of job). It takes a tremendous act of humbleness to beg though.

It depends. If the beggar can't work, I would not say that.

The overwhelming majority of the homeless suffer from mental illnesses and substance abuse issues. They spend every minute of their day actively seeking food, shelter, and whatever else they can get. They are anything but lazy.

yes, i think the reason why they are begging is because they are too lazy to get a job. or because when they actually had something, they were too lazy to hang onto it.

i could be wrong though
