I was watching a history channel thing on potato chips.... (*how does this relate?) well, they showed chip dip had a beginning, ...what??? I thought it was always there,, not really -but you see what I mean, things we think are/were always there...aren't, nor will they always be, so it got me thinking there is a lot we take for granted. NOW -be honest, what do you take for granted, the answer can be deep or not....

I am thinking about getting a tattoo...one that means something...I want it to have something to do with both of my daughters...I was thinking of maybe their footprints or something (from when they were born)...with their initials and birthdate with it, or their name and birthdate...I would like some ideas as to what you would have done if you were me...lol.
Please help me decide on what to get...if not something to do with the footprint, then let me know what else I could get...Thanks!
All ideas are welcome! :o)

It seems to be commonly accepted that the Native Americans populated the Americas (now United States) before the arrival of Europeans. My question is, were there there any groups here before the Native Americans? And, if so, how did the Native Americans obtain the land and how did they get here?

Thank you.

I'm trying to broaden my horizons I am aware of Jane Austin, Emily Bronte, Louise May Alcott, Laura Inglis and even Mary Shelley and Ann Franks but I'm sure there are a lot more and perhaps better female novelists representing a wide variety of genres. Who is your favorite, what genre did she write and what titles would you recommend?
