This rose is made of paper,
A fact thats sad but true.
It will never have that lovely smell,
The way real roses do.
It will never get its water from the early morning dew,
But it will always be watered with tears I cry for you.
You see, this isn't just a piece of art,
This very rose grew straight from my heart.
Its filled with love and thoughts of our past,
and like our love it was made to last.
And so to you a special gift I've chose,
I'm sending you a paper Rose~

i heard of one artist from China that buys dead babies from hospitals, fries them on a pan and eats them for a lunch. all this process he videotapes and shows as a video art in China.

r we better off producing art that is in line with western culture rules, fully commercialized, derivative and no longer interesting to anyone ?

This is really amazing! Well I think so. Earn 10 points and tell me what you think. You do a jigsaw from a picture or even a video like a music video and then the finished picture - you display in your own 3D virtual art gallery. You can even do your own photos. i think it's so good. I set up a group! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/JIGSAWS
There is a link to a free program and some jigsaws to start you off. Even a music video..... but don't tell everyone I sort of nicked that! You can even put your own photos in your art gallery. if you get tired of a picture take it out. Share the pictures you have or find on the net with your new friends in THE JIGSAW ART GROUP. I usually answer questions - but I really want your opinions on this. The program is great, still slightly buggy, I'm beta testing the new one. But still GREAT! OK, someone take some points of me! You'll at least get 2 for trying! lol

i have had my heart badly broken by this types of guys since i always fall for nerdy ones; tall lanky bodies; wearing eyeglasses; business attire, don't have any fashion sense (or so they say) and the likes. but despite of their decent looks and clean image, they are the ones who are surprisingly insensitive, green minded, selfish, and ends up leaving? why is this so? i really need to know the answer, please... :(

Im at the public library now, and looking for something to do for a few hours, so was wondering if anyone could recommend some good books, or authors. If novels, preferably non-fiction, but other than novels, just general interest subjects would be good. Just something that would be interesting. ie, religion, life, etc. Pretty much anything people want to recommend, and why. Thanks very much. Time is an essence....

When you are asleep, you are by definition not conscious, except perhaps during lucid dreams. When you are doing mundane tasks, such as driving, your mind might wander and you find you have arrived at your destination without ever being aware of the journey at all. Perhaps human consciousness is more an ideal than a reality.

Do you think that we can assume an end for the life of the human being. If no,tell me why? ( As you know there is an assumption in our mind that probably ,finally, every thing in the world has an end. So, if u think that there is no necessity to think in such a way , tell me why we don't need necessarily an end for our destiny and our destiny will continue forever, why?) ......... If yes , then again tell me how the destiny of human being may come to its end. what is your guess ? ( Do not rely on religion, plz)
